Campaign Trail History

Follow the Steinhof campaign’s journey across the 4th District, from our first days gathering signatures all the way up to today. Our friends and neighbors who make up this district are our inspiritation!

A heartfelt “Thank You!” to all of the people who helped us gather signatures on March 6, and 10, 2012 and also to all who have signed our papers and taken the time to speak with us.  Let us also express our appreciation to the locations that allowed us to collect signatures. While snow flurries fell, members of our campaign braved the cold and stood outside for hours.  The people helping us are not pros, many are doing this for the first time.  Yet, the feedback was awesome.  Those asking for signatures said it was exciting, cold but exciting!
A few people ran by or chose not to sign because of party affiliation, yet most, regardless of their party, stopped, talked, signed papers and wished us the best of luck.  The consensus was overwhelmingly that we want new people in Congress, we are tired of the same old political game.Join us, get involved in our election process.  It may be the time of your life and when you vote you’ll know Your Vote Matters.
State Rep. Shauna O’Connell

Brian Palumbo, owner and operator of B&F Pizza on Broadway  in Taunton, is a small business owner and operator who knows all too well the difficulties facing small business owners every day. Small or “Mom and Pop” businesses are still the number one employers in this country. Small businesses have dug us out of recessions in the past and they will do it again. Small businesses struggle every day to stay open and keep their employees working. We know long hours, but we look forward to the personal contact we have with our customers. We also know that if we fail, there is no safety net. All we ask is for the chance to work and to serve our customers, which is why we are asking our government to stop adding fees, increasing taxes, increasing regulations and to stop making labor relations more difficult.
Our visiting area Rod & Gun Clubs.
The parking lot was once filled with the cars of American workers. This facility, worth millions, now lies dormant. Places of business just like this exist all over District 4 and throughout our country. Join us and help bring back American manufacturing.

June 12, David speaking before the Attleboro RTC.  Actually , it was during the meeting, not before.

June 16th, David kicked off his fundraising and political campaign at the Venus De Milo.  He started working as a bus boy at 16 years old at the Venus. Irony? It was a great event with a solo guitarist, wings, and some emotional poignancy. Charlie Chase, a personal friend of David, became very emotional while speaking about Davids’ desire to serve the people of the 4th District of MA.  David inspires this due to his personal nature, commitment to friends,  personal demeanor and genuine personality.
June 19th, David and Sue Steinhof at the Scott Brown and John McCain event at Taj Boston.   I think David has just realized the wine glass is empty. David may be asking for directions to the bar.

Senator John McCain, at one time a POW.  Hanoi Hilton, a movie inspired by the dignity of American soldiers during captivity and troubling times in the world and America, is a depiction of what John McCain went through and it is noted in the credits of the movie.

I love parades. Never thought I would drive a truck that would break down in one , but hey, I was the right guy for the job.  All the volunteers that day continued to work hard to pass out toothbrushes and cards for the campaign to end gum disease, plaque, and bad breath.

July 4th, Independence Day Parade.   The volunteers are dedicated to the black and white contrast that David brings as a choice for solutions oriented conservatism to the 4th MA Congressional District.  Except that guy in the yellow Gadsden Flag T.  He didn’t get the memo.
